1 - We endeavour to purchase as many of our products as possible from suppliers who work with the Fair Trade Foundation BAFTS or IFAT, or at least have clear and identifiable ethical policies. And those that don't should always be recycled or from sustainable sources.

2 - We pay everybody up front. Yes we do. We hope that by us paying our suppliers on or before delivery it encourages them to do the same and the artisans who work so hard to produce our beautiful products get paid on time also. Because lets face it they’re the ones that need the help.

3 - We try to protect the environment by recycling and minimising energy use both at work and at home. In fact the packaging we use is either reused bubble wrap from our suppliers or shredded paper waste from a local office block! Just click on some of our info buttons on the bottom left of the page to see what all this eco stuff is all about.

4 - When it comes to the environment we put our money where our mouth is. We know nobody can look after the planet alone so we’ve signed up to 1% for the planet. Along with a growing number of ethically responsible companies we donate 1% of our sale to a network of 2,391 environmental organisations worldwide.

5 - We treat everybody we come in contact with, with the same courtesy and warmth, whether they be customers, suppliers or just our regular visitors and friends.

6 - We support charities both at home and abroad. We realise that there are causes all over the world which help people in many different ways so we donate 1% of our online turnover to charity. Click the charitable donations link for more info.
